Truth Music for Yasharal
Demetric Pruitt, a faith-driven music artist, filmmaker, and truth-seeker was born and raised in South Central Los Angeles. His platform Became Humble Filmz exists for one purpose: to bring glory to Yahuah through music that speaks truth, awakens identity, and ministers to the heart of Yasharal. His music rooted in the Torah, Hebraic identity, and the worship of Yahuah. His sound is a powerful blend of rap, spoken word, and spiritual declaration, carrying messages of awakening, repentance, praise, and purpose. Every track is an offering not to industry trends or popular culture, but to the Most High and to the scattered people of Yasharal. This is not just music, this is his ministry.
Demetric Pruitt was raised as a Jehovah's Witness, and left that faith at the age of 14 and spent years outside of any religious structure — yet the pull toward music was always present. He began writing rap lyrics in high school around the 11th grade, and in the mid-90s, a deeper spiritual hunger drew him toward Christian Bible study.
During this season, Demetric began to sense The Most High calling him out of darkness drawing him through serious spiritual warfare and conviction. Though the fullness of truth had not yet been revealed, he began creating music based on his understanding of the Creator. Then in 2012, a close friend began sharing with him the truth of the Hebrew identity and while Demetric initially resisted, something shifted a year later.
While watching a documentary on the truth of the captivity of his people, the pieces began to fall into place. It was as if Yahuah removed the blindfold. The truth about who the Hebrew people are and where they come from became undeniable — and that revelation changed everything. Demetric returned to music with a new fire, a new message, and a new mission. What followed was Humble Roots, his first project after returning to writing, a barakah (blessing) that marked the beginning of a new chapter. He remains committed to continuing to release music that brings glory to Yahuah, awakens the scattered sheep, and ministers to all who are seeking truth.
