Father Your Hood - October 2025 Ministry of the Month

At Father Your Hood, we believe that every father deserves the opportunity to be an active and engaged parent, regardless of their circumstances. We know now that when fathers are in children’s lives there are greater life outcomes for children. Our programs are designed to help fathers develop the skills and confidence they need to be positive role models for their children’s lives and active members of their communities.  We are committed to working with fathers to create a safe and healthy home environment for their children. Statistically children who have a father in their lives, have better birth and life outcomes. Through our fatherhood programming we provide education and resources to counter social determinants that impact overall health as well as educate on childbirth specific topics such as safe sleep practices, nutrition, early childhood development, infant care, car seat certification using the 24/7 Dads Fathering Handbook as a guide.

We also create events and programs which allow safe places for fathers to be able to interact with their children and interact with other men to strengthen the bond between men as well.
